The practice has been involved in a wide range of building types : Residential - individual and group; Educational - science centres, a music school and a high school; Cultural - museums and display centres; Commercial - office developments and airport buildings, Retail – shops, shopping centres; Restoration projects; and Public Buildings.The practice has recently been involved as design leader in two associations in Cape Town (the CTICC) and Johannesburg (De Beers Headquarters Building)Philosophy: a shared dedication to the pursuit of excellence in design - to weld together appropriate design within established financial parameters.
Goal: to best interpret the unique requirements of each client and to thereby assist in the creation of appropriate and accurate briefs - creativity and inventiveness are the most effective tools in this pursuit.
Form: we seek an architecture, which may suggest a timeless simplicity and elegance. The practice has participated in feasibility studies for large scale developments. Our interior design consultancy has completed a range of high profile retail interiors.

1999 the practice received the SAIA Project Award and the Award of Merit for two houses in Cape Town.
In 1999 the practice was awarded the prestigious AR+D award hosted by AR Magazine (London UK) - an International design competition in ‘recognition of excellence in executed designs’
2001 the WORLD ARCHITECTURE Award for the Best Building in Africa/Middle East.
In October 2005, the TREE HOUSE was voted the BEST BUILDING in South Africa in a public opinion poll hosted by VISI Magazine and the South African Institute for Architecture.
