tillmanecke: architecture is a design orientated practice that seeks to create buildings that are sensitive to site & context, appropriate in terms of climate, technology & materials and engaging & enjoyable to inhabit. We believe that good architecture emerges out of the investigation of each specific site, brief and client, rather than from a preconceived idea of what a building should look like.
I seek to make a local sustainable architecture using environmentally sound principles. My overall aim is to achieve good design that resonates with current international trends.
I have 13 years experience, both in South Africa, Europe & the United States and am 100% involved with each project. I am available for design consultations, sketch designs and preparation of council submissions or the full architectural service, including site supervision.
I work together with some very reasonable builders and together we are able to produce a lot of ‘architecture’ for a comparatively modest price.
